Mizuno’s “Run With Us” Mobile Running Lab

mizunologo

This Saturday, January 31st, come to The Running Shop for the Mizuno “Run With Us” Running Lab. The lab will be here from 10 AM until 2 PM, and we will go for a group run at 2 PM.

The Mizuno “Run With Us” Mobile Running Lab gives you a unique and customized biomechanical running analysis and lets you go for a test ride in some of the latest footwear technology. Experts from Mizuno will be available to answer any questions you may have about Mizuno’s award winning footwear.

The “Run With Us” grassroots campaign is a mobile running tech lab designed to provide expert analysis and recommendations for runners of all skill levels. It features a grand scale technical van which houses two of Mizuno’s state-of-the-art “Precision Fit” terminals. There, runners are provided an innovative and thorough biomechanical analysis of their foot type and running needs. The “Precision Fit” procedure determines which type of running shoe best suits the runner’s foot type, running style, and running goals. The truck will be loaded with full size runs of Mizuno training footwear, so you can try them out on the fun run. And every participant receives a free Mizuno DryScience tee!

Please come early to reserve your fifteen minute appointment. Appointments are made on a first come, first serve basis! Sign ups begin at 10 AM.

As an extra bonus, get discounts on a few upcoming races if you sign up during the “Run With Us” event! Sign up for the Fine Valentine Ramp Run & Couple’s Relay, being held February 15, and save $2 on your entry fee. Sign up for the new Sunrise at Old Tucson on March 8, 2009, and save $5! Saguaro National Park Labor Day Run

September 01, 2008

Classic desert running at its finest! Celebrating its 37th running, the scenic course and post-race festivities truly embrace the spirit of Tucson and the old Southwest, making the Saguaro National Park Labor Day Run a regional favorite.

Our rolling 8 mile course loops its way through a beautiful cactus forest in the foothills of the scenic Rincon Mountains at Saguaro National Park East. A 2 mile fun run and fitness walk are also offered, covering a much flatter course. This event was featured as the Race of the Month in the September 2002 issue of Runner’s World.
